Student Art Show - 2025
We are thrilled to present our first ever student art show!
This exhibit will feature the work created by any student who have attended any Main Street Pottery classes or workshops since October 2022.
Awards

1st prize - 3 week pottery class ($150 value)

2nd prize - Hand-made mug by Katy Nickell ($85 value)

3rd prize - Hand-made noodle bowl by Katy Nickell ($50 value

Honorable mention - $25 Main Street Pottery gift certificate
Student Show guidelines are as follows:

Students may submit up to three pieces. Note a set counts as one submission.

Students may offer their work for sale, but this is not a requirement to participate in the show.

All pieces of work crafted at Main Street Pottery are accepted.

Students are responsible for including a label and/or sticker with each piece submitted. The label/sticker should include the students name and the price of the piece.

Pottery students should be aware of firing schedules when deciding on which pieces to submit.

Any 2-D works should be ready to hang.

Work should be dropped off on Dec. 4th from 5-7pm, Dec. 5th from 11am-5pm, December 7th from 11-1pm or Dec. 10th from 4-7pm.

The deadline to submit work is December 10th at 7 p.m.

Deadline to pick up any remaining items after the show is Saturday, January 3rd at 4 p.m.

We will have an opening reception for your show on Friday, December 12th from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
We hope you take this opportunity to share the wonderful work you've been making with family and friends, to share tips and success stories with your peers and colleagues, and to celebrate your progress as an artist and a maker. We want to share with the community what we see here every day: our students are an incredibly talented group of unique individuals who make outstanding work. We look forward to your submissions!
It is very important that everyone assists in advertising and spreading the word. Please use your own email and social media as soon as possible to encourage your friends and family to attend! Help us promote the Student Show by sharing photos of work you are submitting or making for the show on social media and tagging us @mainstreetpottery
