Service Description

We will be applying acrylic paint on 12x12 canvas. Using 3 selective colors I will show you how to mix the colors with a pallet knife. Once colors are mixed you will apply with pvc card. We will allow time in between layers to let paint set up. Allowing time to dry will keep your layers from becoming muddy. Once we have canvas completely covered with paint and is dry to touch we will use white chalk or white charcoal to draw silhouette of birds sitting on wire. You will select a lighter color of your 3 color combinations and paint around the silhouettes and the wire the birds are perched. You can apply additional markings on the birds (wings/eyes). I will supply everything needed except **you need to bring 3 colors of acrylic paint no less than 4 oz. each. For your Acrylic Paint: choose 3 “spring time” colors thick enough to form a Hershey kiss shape when squeezed from the tube. White and Black Acrylic paint for mixing with you selected colors. Old gift cards or credit cards used for applying your paint to the canvas. White chalk or white charcoal pencil for drawing and mark making. Price per person $40 (all supplies included) Teacher Bio: My name is Lori Snowden. I'm a self-taught artist with my own art business. I live in Choctaw Oklahoma. I enjoy working with mixed media.
