November - Monday Night Watercolor

Beginning Watercolor Class Instructor: DeAun Olive In this beginners class, (4 two hour sessions in November) DeAun Olive will teach you the fundamentals of watercolor painting. Explore texture, design, composition, and colors through this open ended guided class. You will create your own watercolor paintings in this class Cost $160 (all supplies included) About DeAun Olive- Oklahoma City artist, DeAun Olive has been sharpening her painting technique since 2018. Originally, a stay-at-home mom, Olive didn’t start painting until her kids were grown. She found; she needed a new passion. Her education in art came from Rose State College Adult Education. Watercolor is her favorite medium, as her scope of work reflects her passion for it. The balance of her work is done in acrylic, soft pastel, and occasionally oil pastels. She credits her instructors for enabling her to hone her craft. Inspiration for her work is what she sees as beautiful or interesting. The beauty of nature shows up often as a flower or landscape. She is a master gardener, and her love of flowers is shown in her bodies of work. Olive is a member of several local art guilds. She has won judges choice, and best of show in several competitions. She is a resident and studio artist at Paseo Gallery One. She serves as a board member of the Mid Del Art Guild. Some of the juried shows she has participated in are The Myriad Garden Tulip Festival, Paseo Art Association, Washita Valley, Edmond Art Assoc., Art Central Hall, and Cuchara Valley. Olive teaches private art lessons at several galleries in Oklahoma and at local private schools.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: In-studio classes are non-refundable 7 days before the first class starts. Unless the space for the class is filled by someone else before the classes start. If someone else fills the space a 75% refund will be issued. Any refund requested before the 7 day cut off is subject to a $15 processing fee which will be deducted from your refund total. (If something comes up for you I will always try, if I'm able, to help you reschedule your class for a later date.)
