This 3 week class is perfect for all students, from ones new to working with clay to a more seasoned ceramicist. THIS CLASS WILL MOSTLY FOCUS ON WHEEL THROWING.
Students should be 15 years of age or older.
Cost: $135 (all supplies included)
Class will be held at -Oil & Clay Art Studios 410 E Main St, Norman, OK 73071(Next door to STASH)
Class Description: Students will learn about the different stages of clay and the ceramic process. You will throw, trim and glaze multiple ceramic peices. We will make about 3 in class projects and can make more if time allows. Students will then learn the basics of glazing and firing as their work is first bisque-fired, then glaze-fired to completion.
Cancellation (No Show) Policy: In-studio classes are non-refundable 7 days before the first class starts. Unless the space for the class is filled by someone else before the classes start. If someone else fills the space a 75% refund will be issued. Any refund requested before the 7 day cut off is subject to a $15 processing fee which will be deducted from your refund total.
***In light of the COVID-19 public health crisis we are taking extra procautions and adjusting classes for safety. Staff and students will be required to wear masks while in class. We are offering fewer & smaller classes to help with social distancing. Staff and students will also make sure to keep things clean & sanitize before, during & after classes.
